K. C. John is currently Associate Professor of Technology, Innovation & Entrepreneurship and Director of Center of Excellence for Technopreneurship.
He has a distinguished record of entrepreneurial leadership in convergence innovation space of mobile computing, communication and collaboration, healthcare, inter-networking and smart communities. As a founding partner in entrepreneurial companies, John has successfully addressed major strategic and operating challenges in scaling high-technology start- ups since 1995. His cross-functional experience includes Product Development, Product Management, Business Development and Strategic Alliances for Creating Innovation Network. He has been involved in multiple merger & acquisitions and post-merger integrations in the technology space. His professional association included Qualcomm, River Run, BayPackets, GENBAND and AGNITY.
Dr. John also had extensive experience in international development agencies – the Ford Foundation, the World Bank and the UN Agencies.
His areas of interest include Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology Management. He also mentors a group of first-generation entrepreneurs. Dr. John is a Fellow, Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
